Believe and be saved!

God's gift of grace is life! Being spiritually dead ends and life begins the moment you believe!

In John 6, Jesus is standing by the seashore, surrounded by people who ask, "What shall we do that we may work the works of God?" And Jesus responds, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

What you believe has a profound impact on your life.

If you believe there's nothing wrong with drinking and driving, the result might be jail. Talk about impact. Sometimes we do things because we believe we won't get caught. Even before any long term consequences are realized, the fear of discovery immediately comes into play, adding an element of tension to our every waking moment. What you believe makes a big difference in the quality of your life.

You can believe in Jesus. His purpose was to serve the father and the Father's purpose was to reconcile the creature (that's you) to the Father (that's God.)

Life can be frequently challenging, and at times, even confusing. But even in the most difficult times, you can believe in the love and forgiveness of God. He demonstrated His love when He sent Jesus. Because of Jesus we are enabled and empowered. Enabled for an eternity with God. And empowered for daily life by the living Holy Spirit of God. It's a good thing none of this depended on us. We could never have conceived or completed it. We thank God for his grace. God is good, all the time!

 

 

At Grace Bible Church we believe:

• Grace is the free gift of God for all who will believe.

• The Creator designed the creature to flourish in a spiritual life, in an atiitude of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We live the peace of Christ.

• The Christian is not motivated by fear of the Law, but by the grace and love poured out by the Father. Because of God's free grace gift, we are able to live a 'thank you' life, not a 'have to' life.

• When we walk in the light of God's Spirit, the supernatural love of God is manifest in a very real way. When we're led by the Holy Spirit, God express His love for us and through us.
